In this week’s Torah Portion, Mishpatim , we continue to see the introduction of Laws, and the building of a strong foundation based upon Ethics, a person’s Civil manner, and Moralistic values.
The ethical, moral, and civil aspect are a great teaching in Judaism, in fact, a great foundation in all life, and it has given each person an important uniqueness and a possible proactive impact on him/herself, and to the group. To have a relationship, a healthy one at least, you must strive for that of being ethical, and very civil, and have moral DNA..  This is speaking of human dignity, preserving our own feelings and that of others, and understanding them, having self -worth, and continuing our own focus, as well as consideration for others that allows growth and accepts a proactive change.
We must not be critical, so very, very critical of everything and so sensitive! It seems like we live in a society now that we are so very quick to be critical there of, whre we should actually be building one another UP!!!!
“In the classical Greek language ("kritos" means judge, and "kritikos" means able to make judgements, or the critic). Related Greek terms are krinein (separating out, deciding), krei- (to sieve, discriminate, or distinguish) and krisis (literally, the judgement, the result of a trial, or a selection resulting from a choice or decision).”
Instead of being critical, and tearing apart, destructing, discriminating, making distinguishing decisions, we must build up!  We must CONSTRUCT
“Construction is a general term meaning the art and science to form objects, systems, or organizations,[4] and comes from Latin constructionem and Old French construction.[5] Construction is used as a verb: the act of building, and a noun: how a building was built, the nature of its structure.”

We must be people who comprehend and put into action that of ‘CONSTRUCTION”.  We A-L-L must build up, put together a structure; our structure for our society, and with your own  unique signature!

We all must always strive and especially today and now, as we live in a world full of deviations, and it's not so easy at times. Each and every one of us has choices, and if we strive for that ethical, civil and moralistic decision within us, we'll be in a better place!  Takes sincere work and effort.  You're the architect, and it's YOUR partnership that determines YOU and YOUR impact! Build well!

This is where we MUST practice Tikkun Olam – Tikkun Olam (Hebrew: תיקון עולם-  'repair of the world one Mitzvah at a time. Build UP, and please do not tear a part !

Terumah - What's The Gift ?

Terumah - What's The Gift ? February 16 and 17, 2018 The word, "Terumah" means "gift', "contribution", "offering" .  This Torah portion continues to detail and share the story of the building of "The Tabernacle, or Temple", and it's ornamentation from the men and women! Women?  Yes, it explicitly states that the instructions that were utilized were intended for BOTH men and women!  This really stands out in indelible ink of sorts, as it is very clear that women were invited and actively open to participate in an inclusive manner, in what might be considered a very male dominated cult-like society!   The interpretation, "Let THEM make a sanctuary", "men AND women, all whose hearts moved them."  This really stands out beautifully, as THE women got to be participants and viewed with some equality, as well as some equity in society! Is the actual "building" of the Temple the gift ...

Do We Really Expect Results From Repenting?

Do We Really Expect Results From Repentance? As Yom Kippur approaches us, we are asked & expected ,year in and year out, on this ONE day to repent for our wrongdoings, impure thoughts, harmful acts, and ill behaviors for the past year!  Judaism is NOT the only religion/faith to follow this thought , as other ones also have their asking of forgiveness and repentance.  According to Merriam Webster; the action or process of  repenting  especially for misdeeds or moral shortcomings... t o feel or show that you are sorry for something bad or wrong that you did and that you want to do what is right The leader told us that we would be forgiven for our sins if we  repented . criminals who have  repented  for their crimes —  sometimes +  of We must  repent of  our sins/wrongdoings. — repentance   /rɪ ˈ pɛntn̩s/     noun   [ noncount ] His behavior is...
